    Medi-Mation were commissioned to create a series of stunning X-ray style images showing the underlying bone, muscle and organ organisation for a range of animals including an elephant, gorilla, ostrich, falcon, horse, shark, bat and giraffe.

    The Pregnant Body Book Dorling Kindersley

    Medi-Mation produced the content for Dorling Kindersley's The Pregnant Body Book. The book takes a more scientific look at this incredible process and features stunning artworks detailing the process from Conception through to Birthing. The title won First Prize at the BMA Medical Book Awards 2012, in the Popular Medicine category.

    Hybrid, self-sustaining microscale machines Imperial College of Science & Technology, London

    Medi-Mation were asked by Imperial College of London to create a series of animations visualising their latest research into hybrid, self-sustaining micro-scale machines (HSSMMs). Here we present one sequence showing an artificial protocell that is able to manufacture an on-board fluorescent cargo in response to sensing the presence of an external small molecule. This research could lead the way to developing artificial cells that can act as very sensitive detection devices.

    Medi-Mation have now created over 140 images which are available for licensing from the Science Photo Library.Subjects covered range from anatomy, foetal development, cell biology, space and nanotechnology as well as conceptual artworks covering areas such as alcoholism, drug development, smoking and biological research.

    The Complete Human Body Book Dorling Kindersley

    Medi-Mation was asked to produce over 170 detailed anatomical artworks for Dorling Kindersley's follow up to the record breaking Human Body Book. Working with Prof. Alice Roberts, we produced incredible artworks at up to 80% life-size for the project.

    Medi-Mation created a 2 minute medical animation to demonstrate the benefits of a new catheter steering system used for treating cardiac arrhythmias.

    Medi-Mation created a series of animations to highlight the effects of sugar acids from hidden sugars in foods and the the sugar acid protective effects of its latest Aquafresh toothpastes.

    ALPHAJECT Technology KISS communications / Agalimmune

    Medi-Mation created an animation demonstrating the mechanism behind Alphaject therapy. This treatment converts solid cancer tumors within treated patients into a vaccine, thereby eliciting an immune response that not only destroys metastatic tumor cells but also brings about a long-lasting anti-tumor protective immune response.
